As to what's happening in England... Christ on a crutch. The likes of Hartlepool and Sunderland voting Tory. Let's get Indyref2 a.s.a.p. Think they voted 70% leave in 2016, despite warnings that all the local car manufacturing plants would need to relocate to mainland Europe. It's very right wing there.

Three of us in this house had postals for the first time and to the best of my knowledge all 3 were SNP Constituency and Green on the list.
oneteaminglasgow
Not really that arsed about the overall result, I just want Alex Cole-Hamilton to lose his seat and end up living in a bin for the rest of his life. Is that really too much to ask for?

That said I’m all for PR. Think I’ve also discovered where the Penman family found the font for their sponsorship of the South Stand at Stark’s Park. Ah yeah, those wacko national socialists.

If they did, and they schmoozed the right people, they'd be telling us the results of most seats in about an hour.

Keep that under your hats though.
GordonS
Baillie sounds like she's shiting herself. Increased turnout in a marginal seat is not good news for her. I disagree, her vote is middle class and increased turnout in this election might very well mean greater differential turnout this time All those folk who usually commute to Glasgow are working from home, and middle class people are always more likely to get postal votes. I think she'll win by a couple of thousand.
GordonS
There's a picture of AS at the count sampling votes so it looks like we should start to hear something soon. Are they validating regional ballots already? Sampling those would be hard going.

With the caveat that I don't know how far through they are, and I don't know whether "pleased" translates to "winning easily" or just "keeping it close", it's pretty rare to get a declaration without already having a decent idea of what the result looks like.
