Thoughts of a potential banana skin for QP or Rovers raising their game should be instantly dismissed. Our manager hinted that he may give some fringe players a shot tonight given the heavy schedule so far and with Saturday’s game against Cowdenbeath in mind where relatively speaking we have a better chance of getting something (BB are no mugs of course).
Should be 3 points for QP where fitness itself should be a deciding factor as alluded to above. Our new signs on paper are better than what we have but still too early to have an impact. Stones from Hearts looks a smashing potential for the future- a commanding goalie which we have missed for a few seasons now. Gallagher, McGowan and Sideserf in defence still finding their feet. McKernon and Stevenson both look overweight (I expect some QP jibes about Mark Yardley) . Cox as well still to make an impact.

Only thing I will say the two wins we have so far this season - both came out the blue as stick on defeats.

Win the battles and we should have enough quality to get it done. We should have scored more on Saturday, but we looked strong and hungry. Would hope to see the likes of Murray, Robson, Carroll and Connell back in tonight. Really important that we don't trip up when we're in such a strong position.

Fully expect further squad rotation tonight to keep things fresh. It's a luxury we have over other teams and it makes perfect sense given the schedule of games.

It's great that goals are getting shared around but we need more from the strikers imo.  Time for one of them to really step up and make a statement.

I'd like to see  three at the back with Sal, McHugh, Quitongo, MacLean, Murray, Longridge and Galt on the shoulder of the Rovers back line.  No midfield. Just see what happens.  Make it interesting. Fu@k it.

Biggest opponent tonight will be the pitch. We should have the quality to win comfortably. It was interesting to read that Rovers may field a slightly weakened team to save the regulars for a game they have more chance of winning. A Cowdenbeath fan has suggested the same thing when playing us. Makes sense I suppose in this congestion charged sprint for the line.

It is no clearer from the match preview if Murray and Robson are actually  injured or if they were rested on Saturday. Canice Carroll also not mentioned and it seems like we are pretending Craig Slater doesn’t exist.

Wish the preview would just the say what players are actually unavailable. One or two injury doubts prior to the Brechin game which proceeded to have 5 regulars not in the squad. Unsure whether this a tactical thing by not giving away info to the opposition but it more or less makes the preview useless when it doesn’t provide the information we’re looking for

Even just an update on the injury to Craig Slater and whether it’s a season ending or short term injury

Our squad is strong enough to deal with all types of surfaces. The last two games have shown that. No excuses

the clubs are doing their best to provide coverage when we can't get in but surely after all the complaints earlier in the season the problems could and should have been  sorted

No excuse for having that poor a service at this stage in the season. It is quite faithful to the Cliftonhill experience though.

Gallagher and Kidd have been good for Rovers. Lovely goal by Connell, but some shocking lack of sharpness by others up front.
