Ayr United vs Dundee FC

Recommended Posts

Hoping the lads are pissed off about the last two Ayr games and the result on Saturday, and are coming into this one with a similar attitude that we did when we proved a point against Hearts at the new year. I really want to see some fight and determination that we want that 2nd spot, and that we will go through any team we have to do it and get promotion. If not, why bother showing up?

Other than Fontaine playing again, I'm happy with our line-up. Disappointing to see Jakubiak miss out completely as it sounded like he might make the bench at least.

ETA: Would've kept Kerr in the side instead of Elliott but that's not a big deal.

Yeah, I've just learned to assume that if it's a 'maybe' then it's pretty much a 'no'. Hopefully for Morton it's a 'yes', and McGhee is at least a 'maybe'.

Are we playing 442 with that formation? McKenzie and Mccowan up top. Todd and chalmers on the wings?

More like 4-5-1 with Aero sitting in front of the back four. Would imagine like last time when Todd pushes up on the left hand side Chalmers will come over and cover him. Would expect McCowan to press high up as well.
