Jeff Venom
Right Caley, you know we've been quite sound with you down the years. 7-3 league win, 4-3 cup win after we lead 0-3 at ht, allowed you to tickle our tummy at Somerset when you secured promotion with a 7-0 win...may we cash in some chips?
cop
Surely it's in Inverness interest to allow Ayr to stay up for the inevitable 12 points they will get from Ayr next season.
malkyshotton
I have a bad feeling about this. 2-0 Ayr United.Yes, this after 45 minutes then standard Ayr United collapse in 2nd half. 3-2* ICT. *If you could just give us a 3 goal start that would be splendid.
Jamie_M
Just do your job Caley, just do your job. If you.could do it clinically with a couple of early goals so word filters through to Gayfield, that would be just grand.

Hursty
Big thing for us is to always be in the game. That way the other two can never be in a position where they are both comfortably safe no matter the score. Can't afford to be 2 or 3 down by HT like up at Arbroath last week. Because if Arbroath feel like they need to beat Morton to be absolutely safe I'd fancy them to do so.

A draw guarantees they finish above Morton.
D'Jaffo
Arbroath don't need to beat Morton to be absolutely safe. A draw guarantees they finish above Morton.Surely they’d rather just try and get an early goal or two and kill off Morton quickly to make it far less nervy. Plus if they win and you lot get beat then they could end up 6th which would be a decent incentive for them.

Oh they'll want to win and as you suggest if they do they'll possibly beat us to 6th position, but they don't need to in terms of safety.
AUFC 1910
The worst case scenario - we go a couple of goals down early - so this is what will happen

Which only happens if Ayr are well behind. Edited April 26, 2021 by Hursty

I'm leaving Ayr at around 4pm to drive to Portpatrick on Friday afternoon, just putting as much distance between myself and the actual game as possible. On the other hand I'll be able to hear the wild celebrations from Stranraer and Dumfries around 10pm as the Ayrshire giants slip in to the playoffs
TheScarf
Would be nice if Scott Allan could get a goal for us before he heads back to Hibs.
