Deanburn Dave
.......and it would have to be someone who is happy on the bench as our Number One Andy Murphy is a class act. Best in the LL in my opinion.

Lots of nice hold up play and good at bringing folk into the game but never seems to do anything that's ever effective You contradict yourself. Surely hold-up play and bringing others into game is an effective part of the game. Might be a bit like Chris McFadyen.
Deanburn Dave
The Linlithgow Gazette has an article about roosters tackle on Galbraith. Max saying it was a terrible tackle and a deliberate attempt by the rose player to injure the player. Max says the BU's will not be playing the Rose in a friendly again.Rooster has a totally different point of view obviously. .....and comments that Bo'ness may be happy with 7th place in the league but the Rose have bigger ambitions.Link below

Deanburn Dave
Thats not exactly finishing 7th and being happy in reality though The BU's like most clubs played safe last season as it was 99% certain to be affected by the COVID . Every sensible BU fan knew the team last season was too old and slow to seriously compete for the title. This season the BU's have brought in a load of new blood. Fingers crossed that it will be a higher finish this season.Mon the BU's !!!
LongTimeLurker
With Kelty gone and both BSC Alloa and the Shire apparently on significantly lower budgets, this may be the best season to really try to go for it before the top WoS clubs start to arrive. Just as the EoS promotion season was the ideal time to get the job done in the EoS before the promotion playoff became challenging rather than a formality.

Deanburn Dave
Was listening to Max's interview on Facebook about the game. No complaints about the effort the boys put in. Mentioned a bad hamstring injury for McCormack.........I presume that it was centrehalf Darren McCormack that went off. If so he pulled his groin in his first game, pulled a hammy in the second. Wonder if he is unlucky or just not warming up properly ?

The first one wasn't groin but a tight hammy. This time it popped severely.
