Set the foundation of a clean sheet and once it's in the DNA, from there you can build. A good barometer of the current squad harmony is the almost complete absence of dubious withdrawals. It is disappointing that the relative defensive solidarity we saw pre tournament (i.e. not throwing away cheap or multiple goals) didn't hold good Vs Czech and Croatia, but I trust Clarke recognises that too and has the nous to tweak things.
