Rangers vs Livingston

Livingston are a dreadful footballing team

They just boot away possession long every time they get it

Hardly the game to base that kind of opinion on us, against the best team in the Country at Ibrox, and the first league game of the season. Keeping this down to 3 goals would be a decent result, it's settled down a bit now and we've managed some possession in their half. Always going to be a one sided game at Ibrox though, even if we were at our best. We've drawn and had narrow defeats at the TMA, totally different game at Ibrox though.

Better teams than us have been humped by Sevco at Ibrox.

Or not.

Still could be, but hopefully not. Would be great getting to HT still only a goal down. Annoying the goal came from a free kick where nobody bothered marking Hagi at the back, but can't complain at being a goal down, Sevco have ran over us at times.

Regardless of the final score, is it too much to ask for Scott Wright to be on the receiving end of a double compound fracture of the legs as well as two complete ligament tears of the knees?

We live in hope.

It's unlikely he would receive such injuries during a game of football.

Possibly a car crash.

Hagi is a huge loss, hopefully it's not too serious and he's  not out long term.

Our intensity seems to have dropped off, I'll be happier if we get another goal early in the second half.

He looks solid enough, but the difference going forward and the final ball between him and Barasic is massive.

Yeah as expected, compared to when he first appeared for us he to now he looks to have came on leaps and bounds, his delivery has been decent this game too, he's usually prone to passing inside rather than crossing anyway so it's good to see him attempting them at least.

Relatively happy with that. We are winning and we've hardly been threatened.

Sakala hasn't touched it enough but how much is that due to the midfield not giving him the service.

Wright has done some good stuff mixed in with some basic errors. Needs to be more consistent in his play.

If we can keep this 1-0 till 65 mins and get Devlin on it could get interesting. He'd get down the wing and in behind them to at least give Anderson a chance at goal. Kabia on too, he's a right nuisance that winds defenders up, and constantly buzzes abou.

Just don't concede in the first 10 mins and it'll hopefully settle down again to give us a chance.

Very few players can deliver a final ball like Barasic, though.  In that respect he's a rare talent.

I think oor Calvin has done pretty well and had a decent preseason.
