HibeeJibee
For the first time there's no South representation in the Last 32 of the South Challenge Cup. However every other league, division (except West Fourth) and conference (except East First A + B) in the southerly pyramid is present. Cup itself rests over midwinter with R4 not due until Saturday 5th February... outstanding R3 tie Darvel v Cambuslang Rangers might hopefully be caught-up before then. R4 draw: Lowland League (8) Bo'ness United, Bonnyrigg Rose Athletic, Caledonian Braves, Civil Service Strollers, Cumbernauld Colts, East Kilbride, Spartans, University of Stirling East of Scotland League (7) Premier Division (5) Dundonald Bluebell, Jeanfield Swifts, Linlithgow Rose, Sauchie, Tranent First Division (2) [X] Bo'ness Athletic, Syngenta West of Scotland League (17) Premier Division (9) Auchinleck Talbot, Beith, Blantyre Victoria, Clydebank, Cumbernauld United, Hurlford United, Irvine Meadow, Pollok, Troon First Division (7) [A] Arthurlie, Maybole; [B ] Renfrew, Thorniewood United; [C] Drumchapel United, Petershill, Vale of Leven tbc (1) Darvel/Cambuslang Rangers
LongTimeLurker
You only need to look at junior cups over the years to see that the west has significantly more strength in depth than the east, and the bottom few clubs in the LL are a couple of tiers higher than they should be because they got in early where the pyramid is concerned and haven't found their natural level yet. Not at all keen on the way they barged into Newtown Park but I think the only major shock is Bo'ness Athletic beating Glenafton. peasy23
5-0 win for Petershill against Greenock was probably a bit harsh on them. First half hour was pretty even, we ran away with it in the second half after Greenock went down to 10 men. It looked like a shocker of a decision from where I was, and speaking to a few of our players after the match they were very surprised it was a red too. Defo no worse than a yellow.

The last 32 here with 12 from the east looks similar to the last few proper Junior Cups - which had 14, 14, 17, 13 clubs from outwith the West Region.

FairWeatherFan
Take it they won't bother with the draw until the next leagues meeting?
peasy23
Take it they won't bother with the draw until the next leagues meeting?Which is when? Next round is February 5th, although it's still a while away it would be nice to know who we are playing sooner rather than later.
