Ric
Might be a short thread, but during the really warm weather the other day, I was cycling through the area I grew up and suddenly had the craving for one of these... The red one, which I was sure was strawberry but the packaging says "mixed fruit". Either way, I've not eaten one of those things since I was a young boy but they were a staple back then. I presume, considering it's packaging, it's still very much on the go. You feel, much like the vaunted Parmaviolets, they kept on changing the recipe after finding out whatever E number was driving kids mental. Which on that note, could I also add in... Although I have to admit to trying one a few months back when someone had some left over from their kids party, and it was rotten. They have changed recipe though.

Suspect Device
I actually did try this just recently when I bought some in a sweet shop in Moffat. It's not as nice as I remember. Also in the same vein.

This being a double nugget with the single nugget having a simple wafer on one side. And as I'm posting that I'll also post this.. I have no idea if ice cream vans still do nuggets and oysters.
scottsdad
Our ice cream van sold sweets and cigarettes as well as just ice cream.
