superbigal
Processed cold meat. When mother sent me to the corner shop in the 70s, it was for 6oz of Boiled Ham and a 1/4 pound of chopped ham and pork. I mean is ham not pork ??? Also had the same shit with an egg in the middle. Proper cuts of cold meat for me now.

You can get these in drink form now. Would imagine it’s absolutely vile.
Cosmic Joe
Back in the day we had such tea-time delights as tinned macaroni cheese, fried egg and spaghetti hoops, toast-toppers. Then there was the obligatory chip pan with lard, which was heated up/ cooled down ad-infinitum.
Venti
Cola cubes. Used to get them as a wean. Probably would cost me a trip to the dentist these days. ETA: Curly Wurly, Highland Toffee & IRN BRU bars. Edited November 9, 2023 by Venti

Hedgecutter
Sweetheart Stout, the only beer my dad would let me touch as a kid. Not a fan of it at all now, even though it's still one of the first things my dad buys when he comes back to the UK (usually accompanied by a loaf of Mother's Pride). Mrs Mathematics has “cooked” me one thing (about four times) in about 19 years of our relationship: cheese on toast. On one occasion I got the shits from it.

When we moved to the States she clearly didn't fathom that a toaster oven is different to a toaster and had a 2 for 2 record of setting bread on fire. Actual smoke both times.

Very much hit and miss whether Somerfield would sell it to a young me from what I remember.
