Arbroath vs Pars

Recommended Posts

😂😂😂😂

Dunfermline must be cursed. It’s always awful when they come to town. Worst day of the year so far hands down. Forecast says it’s too improve but noticed that changes as time goes on. I’m keen for terrible weather today think it’s the last thing Dunfermline would want and it just feels like fate that it could be the day that Peter Grant got the bullet.

The weather will be an excuse for our board to keep him after defeat today.

If he doesn't get a win against Morton next week, then we might see some action finally.

Peter Grants tenure come to an end on Halloween weekend as his Dunfermline team lost to Dick Campbell’s Arbroath in the hurricane conditions by the Angus seaside. It just feels right

OR

Could be the day that sees the turnaround too because it would speak volumes for Dunfermline to come and turn us over today. You are definitely capable of it with the group of players you have

Looking forward to it though, pressure completely off us and it feels like a massive day because of the situation you boys are in. Feel it could be an important day one way or the other

Distressing scenes as it turns out nowhere in Arbroath has a license before 11.

Not even Wetherspoons? Although unsure why anywhere in Arbroath, Wetherspoons aside, would have a license to serve before 11.00.

Think you can get a pint with a breakfast? Maybe

Are pubs in Dunfermline usually open before 11?

Other than Wetherspoons, no, although I think they do serve from 10.00.

Whilst it is a bit drizzly here in Arbroath, there isn't much wind currently. Peter Grant will be feverishly praying it picks up so that he doesn't have to cross it off his list of excuses.

Things don’t actually need to be real to be on the excuse list. That’s the beauty of the list,  you can put anything on it.

They don’t heed to be real for anybody in Scottish media either to be fair it’s windy here regardless.

It is absolutely wild today though. Good thing is I know we will be right up for it. Looking forward to it

Arbroath - 0
Dunfermline - 1
Wind - 3

Fully expecting the bitter wee guy writing for the official site to lead with this, after we get pumped 3-1 today.

Hopefully one of Vytas’ punts up the park gets caught in the wind and goes into the top corner for our goal too, but we don’t acknowledge that.
