Gordopolis
Can't decide who I'd rather face if we make the final. Both Wales and Austria are well capable of beating us if we aren't on it. I think Wales would be the more colourful final just because of near neighbour rivalry... but losing to them would be more unbearable than losing to Austria.Glad the Wales Austria game is going ahead though. Means we have a decent chance of getting two fixtures at the end of this month, and it'll be interesting to watch Wales Austria without having the fear of watching our semi at the same time.
craigkillie
You'd also be inconveniencing their fans and pointlessly disrupting the June fixtures of at least two other unconnected nations, and potentially some others in their Nations League group for the sake of some notion of "fairness" that doesn't really apply. It's not at all unlikely that the Ukraine game (in fact all three scheduled Ukraine games) could end up not going ahead anyway, in which case we'd be the ones with more preparation time.
Pie Of The Month
According to a Polish journalist we want the Poland friendly at Hampden and they want it in Poland but seems both teams are keen to make it happen https://twitter.com/s_staszewski/status/1501277782491418625?t=ihV7PJuD4e0c7aDHYAL9uw&s=19 Edited March 8, 2022 by Pie Of The Month

Anthony Gordon possibly Karlan Grant possibly Liam Henderson Aaron Hickey Calvin Ramsay Alan Campbell Kal Naismith Ryan Gauld Ross Stewart Sirki Dembele possibly Can you clarify to me what ones are your daft nobodies please? Every single one of them are consistently in form and should deserve some kind of recognition Naismith must be injured tonight and Campbell must be getting rested Edited March 8, 2022 by General dissaray -

We won't be calling up 10 new players for any game.

I never said we would be calling up all off them some might be still deluded enough to think there good enough for England oh and forgot Tino Livamento on the list But there is injuries Nisbet Christie Turnbull Cooper all out And the back up Aberdeen players are having a nightmare Would much rather have players at right end of English championship over them Who might be playing in EPL next year guys like Sirki Dembele who could go play for Ivory Coast if we don't act quickly likewise with Gordon possibly going to play for Ireland We only have a small pool of players and can not afford to miss out on a few good ones that we can possibly get to other teams especially the Irish Edited March 8, 2022 by General dissaray

lubo_blaha
Gallacher Bates Both are terrible Neither have been anywhere near recent squads so it’s not like they have places up for grabs. I’m pretty sure Bates last featured under McLeish [emoji28]

What part of Cooper is injured do you fail to understand?Hanley is getting relegated though his confidence can't be that high right now there will be a replacement for Cooper hopefully it isn't that animal Porteous Hendry played 17 out of 30 in the league so he been injured to or lost his place Edited March 8, 2022 by General dissaray -

Makes sense to play it in March to avoid disrupting even more fixtures. If you are the winner of Wales and Austria game, you are fielding a B team in the June Nations League match all day long. So they will go into the winner of our game fresher than they would have been had they played their semi on the same day as us. I get that rescheduling Nations League matches would be a pain. However you have to be fair to all four sides in our semi finals.

accies1874
There's a chance Souttar won't make the June games too though going by his previous achilles injuries. It's shite for the guy as he did everything he could in the Denmark game to make that RCB spot his own and was close to finally completing a season without his ankle blowing up. Time to call up Jamie Hamilton imo.
