Brother Grimm
I thought the Rob Mason article was terrible personally, trying to put a guilt trip on those not wearing masks when there is absolutely no requirement to do so.

Fully agreed. What a waste of a page in the programme. Absolute nonsense from Mason. I’m also sick reading about Sunderland.

Nearest to Palmerston, about 5 minute walk, you've got the Spread Eagle, Globe, Salutation, Devorgilla bunched together. Head over the bridge towards the town centre there's Cavens Arms in Buccleuch St, real ale and good grub, or Robert The Bruce (Weatherspoons) at the top of Buccleuch St. The New Bazaar on Whitesands. There are a few more in and around the town centre about 15 - 20 minute walk from Palmerston, (some have a no football colours policy). There's also a bar at the ground in the main stand.
Stellaboz
I won't be there but is the Main Stand bar home fans only or are away fans allowed?

The Spread Eagle sounds like fun. Expensive for a private dance?

It is open and is the diversion route. Looking at Google Maps, southbound traffic looks to be more or less at a standstill. Eta it is showing an 11 minute delay due to the accident diversion and 6 minutes due to roadworks in the area, so must be moving now. Edited again - seems like there has been another accident on the original diversion route and there is an additional diversion in place. Maybe traffic on the original diversion is stuck.
