Supposedly a lot of these tanks weren't even damaged, the crews just thought fuckthis for a game of soldiers and ran for it. Elon Musk is supposedly cutting off the ability of the Ukrainians to use his internet system to communicate with their drones, so the tanks might get more difficult to spot.

The DoD paid for most of it despite what Musk claims, so they might tell him to butt out.

It’s just using a silly Times article to convince people that Russia is the harmed party. The bot accounts tend to have an arc of life…they start with useful and accurate data, then a slight spin gets put on it, then the spin gets amped up, until people who started listening to the posts when it was rational and accurate are buying the pure propaganda being shoveled. So, it is relevant, in that it shows the Russian disinformation campaign is still quite active.
LongTimeLurker
Same info from The Times was tweeted by this account linked to the Belarusian opposition movement that predates last year's invasion: Given Challenger tank approval preceded moves elsewhere on Leopards and Abrams that may or may not be significant. Not necessarily. Russian combat techniques are devolving at a phenomenal rate, such that even having vast reserves of men are not going to be decisive against the more intelligent use of firepower that Ukraine can rely on. Suspect this latest Russian offensive isn't going to do much, a lot will rely on how successful the next Ukraine one is, likely now to be in the Spring once they've assimilated more Western equipment, even then though - without decisive air power it's going to be hard to break the Russians in sufficient depth to drive them out completely.

TxRover
Reports Ukrainian forces have blown a bridge in eastern Bakhmut, possibly in preparation for a retreat. Ukrainian denials of any planned retreat released. Wagner has confirmed it has stopped recruiting prisoners. Russian military is now directly recruiting prisoners, and using them in human wave style assaults backed by small Assault Troop squads who move in behind the prisoners to consolidate gains, if any.
