Opinion here on how Wagner forces in Syria and Africa may be affected by these Russian goings on. African gold secured by Wagner has provided an important revenue source to Russia since their invasion of Ukraine.

The Wagner group in Libya are the most independent of the Russian government. UAE not Russia are actually the main funders and backers of Wagner in Libya. This despite UAE being an ally of USA, a host to US military installations and recipient of US weapons sales. Also the gold that Wagner obtains from Sudan and Central African Republic goes to UAE first before Russia.

Taking that area with dachas had happened before the Kakhovka dam was blown up as well:

The problem is that they are only on a swampy island and need to cross a second bridge and take a town called Oleshki before it really qualifies as a bridgehead. Not having Russian snipers close by probably makes life easier in Kherson though.

The FSB case against Prigozhin has been dropped, for what it's worth.

Wagner are also currently transfering their heavy weapons to Russian MoD.

Putin is holding an impromptu award ceremony at the Kremlin for units who stopped the rebellion - medals are being given out, a silence held for the Russian forces killed.  Shiogu is there, not sure he got a medal.

No doubt a useful counterbalance if the Belarus military ever gets any ideas about doing a coup, and only a few hours drive from Moscow if Shoigu gets any ideas about toppling Vlad once Russia's hold on the occupied portion of Ukraine is a lot less secure than it is now:
