Bogbrush1903
I've been moaning about the appointment of Jim Goodwin all week but I've changed my mind. How refreshing it was to have a proper manager again after 12 months of Glass and the last few months of spikey and belligerent Delboy. Welcome to Aberdeen Jim!
fat_tony
Some of the Aberdeen fans in here are starting to sound like Celtic fans with all this whataboutery.Big respect for Goodwin stepping into the dugout today. I had to laugh when he shouted at your #10 to stop throwing himself to the ground whenever anyone went near him.A little disappointed not to win that given the chances late on for Shields and Ojala, as well as KVV hitting the post before half time, but so often these double headers work out as a win each, so a point's okay.

highland_mechanic
Was relieved to get out of there with a point to be honest. Motherwell are awful to watch if you like football but are very effective at what they do. Our players could do with learning some of their methods of organisation and solidity combined with physicality. Gallagher is such a poor footballer, how did he ever get a cap for Scotland? Pathetic defending at the equaliser. Oh and why bother selling tickets for allocated seating in the lower tier only to keep it closed and leave it as a free for all in the upper tier?

Regarding the seating, it was probably decided after the situation from the cup game. If there was more than 1000 sold then they would have undoubtedly opened up the lower section but today there was only 800 away fans. Last week there were 2,000. Also, Gallagher fit into our style of play more than Aberdeens. He's not THAT great but I just love it after he threw his toys out of the pram. There's a reason why Van Veen kept teasing and battling him.

Flammable sheep
Gallagher is garbage. I can't wait til Consi is fit again. The former does not have the mentality nor the skill to be a decent defender for our level. Get rid ASAP, he's better suited to Morton or Partick.
SlipperyP
Took this in as a neutral yesterday. Terrible game. Two teams with zero composure on the ball, just blind hoofs up the pitch most of the game. There was at least 10 occasions that the ball was dropping to someone with nobody within 20 yards of them and they just wellied it as hard as they could back up the park. I've seen better standard in the Championship. Motherwell were the better team throughout the game, just look like they wanted it more. Can't believe a player with one arm lasted the full game and was causing problems every time he got it.. He should have been smashed by either centre halves as soon as they knew he had a problem. Lot of work for both teams if they want to finish in the top 6.
Allroy for Prez
Some recovery from Hayes by the way. Was apparently a baw hair away from allegedly being stretchered off and required the assistance of 2 people to hobble at snail pace the length of the pitch at half time…..only to reappear at the start of the second half as if nothing had happened! Was this really a cunning ploy to avoid an action for his challenge on O’Hara? Some effort.

Felt better about Tuesdays draw with St Johnston as there was at least a fair bit of control of the game and constructive play. At least Tuesdays game is easier to fix. Get Watkins back fit and sign another striker so there are options. Yesterday looked like needed a lot more than a couple of forward options.

He's about 5 foot taller and goes down like a wee anorexic, malnourished ned from the Bois section.
welldaft
Is it now one win in 8 games for Aberdeen v Motherwell ? Sure I heard that somewhere… Maybe next time. Law of averages and all that. -
