I would doubt if Hamilton were the only club to have lost money to this or some kind of other scam. Up until recently a very cash heavy business and without being too harsh some of the administration at a lot of teams seems to leave a lot to be desired so I would assume football clubs are a bit of an easy target at times. Edit: looked it up and yep, also done for money laundering although his jail sentence was quashed. Someone like @ICTChris might remember the days of Debbie Ross at ICT? I met her in Foxes after a game once and she did buy me a few drinks.
