ICTChris
1980 cup final riot - absolutely no-one fat in the whole thing. Even the police officers have that straight up and down look. Now look at this football hooligan fight from 30 odd years later. Half the people involved have huge guts.

The aforementioned neighbour used to give her daughter a lift every morning. My son, walking, got there quicker as he didn't need to mess about getting into the car, finding a parking space and so on. The best part of attending school growing up was walking with your mates there and back. Usually loads of banter about last nights comedy tv followed by a kick about with a fitba in the school grounds. There were very few kids growing up in my era who you would class as overweight. Now many at such a young age are definitely obese. It is a sad reflection on our society.

All the fatties in the first video were still trying to climb over the metre high fence surrounding the pitch IMO.

Careful you might start to upset some snowflakes. I have often thought that you should be weighed at airports and your seat ticket should be charged according to your body weight. I should write to EasyJet. I think they are missing a trick. It would not surprise me if the NHS is ultimately privatised. -

He was unsuccessful but did have a point.

Not being horrible (well....maybe) but how does the first one manage to wipe his arse? Are there specialised toilets for those requiring more "spreadage" than normal? I often wonder how ginormously fat people get their hole as well...........

eez-eh
Better understanding of how “calorific” different meals/foodstuffs are can only be a good thing. The average person’s awareness of it all is generally awful.

A lot of America is poorly designed for walking and it is even regarded with suspicion. Where even walking is not something people do - you get some seriously large people.

We're in a completely different place these days to the early 80s. This I think is spot on, someone posted on our local Facebook group that a iced coffee had been delivered to the wrong address. The bill was in the photo and showed they had paid nearly £10 for a coffee which I just found staggering.
