Cptn Hooch
How was the yellow rescinded? The exact same thing happened in a Livi game where Devlin was booked but the play had been pulled back for a Livi penalty...yellow card stood

Savage Henry
Just now, The Master said: I’m surprised there wasn’t a longer VAR review of that. Definite elbow to the back of the neck. Is this not what VAR is for? Or is it for offsides by literally millimetres?

If the card is only for preventing the promising attack, then it would be overturned, since the attack actually obviously wasn't promising at all. However, if it was for a bad tackle then it wouldn't be overturned because it's still a bad tackle. captainkev
Grealish getting himself booked for dissent over a decision the referee definitely got right is fairly satisfying.
Guest
I'd have booked Rodri there. Arsehole behaviour

He certainly has a good look at the guy before piling in to him. Very little attention to where the ball was.

Yellow cards issued between an incident and VAR pulling it back stand, except for those given for stopping an attack. So let’s say a yellow had been given for a foul outside the box, but advantage was played and Haaland had gone on to score. If VAR still ruled the goal out, that yellow would have stood. Cptn Hooch
Nketiah straight leg, studs showing, makes contact, nowhere near the ball....yellow. Scott Pittman, wins ball, pulling out of the tackle, gets kicked....red. I don't understand football anymore
