We played well in the 1st half team changed 2nd with subs. Wouldn't say it was a roasting.

This game let us try out some players and work on building fitness. There was no point in us just picking our strongest side for the 90 minutes and playing as if the result was paramount
Cowdenleith
Looked like we had a few opportunities in the first half from the highlights that Stenny put up.

cowdenbeath0-3
I went along to stenny for the game. We were great 1st half probably the better of the two sides. Stenny keeper had 3 great saves first half. New signings pabz and ethan looked good. We set up a 3-5-2. Sam took his goal very well with some individual skill. 5 mins into the second half we made 5 subs and thats when it went downhill. Our strongest 11 is definitely up there with the best in the lowland league. We just need some depth and get the formation nailed. Too many balls over the top caught us out.
silkybeath
The Stenny manager in his post match comments recognised that the changes Cowdenbeath made in the second half made the game more comfortable for them. 1GregStewart
Caledonian Braves. F me, nothing more than a complete diddy version of Gretna. Be a miracle if they even get out the Lowland League.
1GregStewart
Can see Cowden building on last seasons improvement and again bettering their league position of the previous season.

Hopefully much different story this time.
Kelheart
How did Lyall Brown get on ? Top scorer for Dundonald under 20s last season and a Kelty boy

Looked a bit off the pace but unfair to judge on that game I think.

Big bit of a step up in class as well and he's only just turned 18 , maybe needs a few games to find his feet

ronaldincoo
Sounds like a pleasing outing for the boys tonight. A goodly number of trialists to have a good look at too.
