Jordi1977 Posted September 11, 2023 Share Posted September 11, 2023 With Musselburgh playing on the Friday night this week, it seems a good chance to get along to a game... but one very important thing if any of their regulars can advise to keep the wife on side... do they still sell stovies from a wee hut? Thought I'd be sleeping on the sofa, but treated her to a burger after the game which mostly pacified her! To the game... and there was a clear 2 divisions between the sides. Edinburgh College didn't look all that bad, but Musselburgh were just collectively better and definitely adapted better to the wet conditions. College took an early lead and thought it might make it a tight game... but no. The equaliser was was about 5 minutes later and a series of defensive calamities followed to have Musselburgh 4-1 up at the break. Defending the way they did, 7-1 was probably about right for the end.
