He's got previous for this type of behaviour. Craig fae the Vale Posted April 29, 2023 Share Posted April 29, 2023 Irvine Victoria 0-3 Vale of Leven Rode our luck a bit at times in the second half but a really good display and it's four wins in a row for the Vale. Can I just say a huge thanks to the Vics staff who helped out when one of our supporters took unwell at the end of the game. Great care shown. A bit of head scratching by the majority of us at the composition of our defence in the absence of our first choice CB. Poor first half, went in 2 down. Competed much better in the 2nd half and lost an unfortunate 3rd. Larky never really threatened our goal to much. Brings Gow back into promotion hunt. All still to play for. As for dodgy decisions we've had our fair share too. Hadn't really followed your form. before yesterday but you were well worth the 3 pts. Yes you had a bit of good fortune second half, we hit the woodwork several times, cleared of the line, crucial defensive blocks and the keeper saves, and if we score from one of them it's a different game. However you had some good counter attacks to put the game to bed earlier than you eventually did with the late 3rd goal. I know we were down the bare bones but you guys looked a good unit and am surprised you are not up challenging for one of the promotion spots. Results again this week mean it's another missed opportunity for us at the top. Anyway looking forward to the return fixture as it will be my first time at yours. Father Ted Posted May 3, 2023 Share Posted May 3, 2023 (edited) East Kilbride Th 1 Gow 3 1-0 up midway through first half, then down to ten men, no arguments about sending off. Gow still looked the more likely to score again. EK came out second half and put us under a lot of pressure and got it back to 1-1., through a debatable penalty. Gow made a few changes and reaped the rewards in last ten minutes, when we scored two belters. The team deserve a lot of praise for digging in and getting the result.
