Any news regarding Fowler and a new contract? as you would think the players would want to know what is happening before they sign up again.

I think Fowler is giving the board more of a headache, if we are playing like this now and it's taken him 30 odd games to start playing to win it reflects very badly on his approach up to this point. I have said for quite a while that Fowler for me isn't the right man to enter next season with but if he was to set up like he currently is and take it in to next season I don't think anyone could complain, the big question for the board will be is he going to slip back into his negative ways when the going gets tough in what will be a much tougher league next season.

Or have the board had a word in Fowler's ear regarding tactics/style of play following the bad run of results and performances?!

James Fowler is keen to stay on and would think the board will stick with the current management set up, this year was always going to be a transition season with a brand new team getting to know each other and with a young manager gaining much needed experience to take the club forward next season, here's hoping the manager has learned alot from this season!

Think it's time for board to make a decision on the gaffer. I'd keep him let him build something, but let's get it done early we waited about to much last season. Raith got in had majority done by early June, I always think that helps.

Have heard rumours that were chasing Todd from Annan, never seen him but seems to always be one of their best players. If we're signing Sutton I'd be pretty happy. Him and Oliver upfront could be tasty

Brownlie had a shocker today! Why did we bring back Scott hooper(where he was playing week in week out with Queens Park)to not even have him in the team or bench today. Surely it would make more sense having higgy and dowie centre backs and hooper right back with kidd on the left and Brownlie in the Queens arena waiting the tables.

tend to agree with all that bar the last part I wouldn't have him anywhere near Queen's.

Anyone heard the rumour Danny c could be returning next season?

lots of rumours doing the rounds regarding players signing or not for next season, would like to think Fowler could get the ones he wants from the current squad signed up pretty soon before they go elsewhere. As for Danny great player at Queens but has struggled with injury since his last few games with Queens and his problems have continued at Hibs, Is he not still contracted for another season there.

The worst thing is I think there is a player in there. But I don't think we can afford to take a chance on another season with him, need someone better as dowie and Higgins cause tbh even them two aren't filling me with confidence this year

Yep Brownlie  was pretty dire today but his erratic performances must be frustrating for the Manager also because he was one of our best players IMHO against rangers last week and on that basis probably deserved to start. Having said that he has probably had more poor games than good ones over the season and I would not argue with anyone who thought that Hooper deserved a run of games.

I'd imagine the manager would fully expect erratic performances from a young player learning his trade. Durnan was no different but got away with it to an extent because of the quality of opponent we faced when he broke through.

I like Hooper at right back, but Kidd has that position sewn up just now. I don't think Hooper is big enough for centre half.

Danny has a 2 year contract at Hibs but he's out again after scoring on his return with the same groin problem and is being sent to see a specialist.

Feel for Dan. He got his move and it was thoroughly deserved. I can't recall him being a player prone to injuries yet it seems to have plagued him since moving to Hibs. I saw him yesterday when I was heading to Palmerston. I assume he never attended the game so as not to start rumours that he was returning :P

Noticed the manager sat in the directors box for the first 15mins yesterday, maybe he reads the mad site as a few have asked him to sit and look at the game from a different angle, he ain't one of those managers he has to be pitchside.
