It's not Premier Division Kennoway that's playing Drumchapel United, it's Kennoway Star Hearts Amateurs, who are near the bottom of the bottom Fife League, and lost their last 17 matches last season, shipping 113 goals. Should be an easy away win. Kennoway lost 2-1 away to Lothian & Edinburgh 3rd tier side Barca-Milton in the first round. mcruic
Last 16 (with ScotScores rankings in parentheses). Still 6 Top 10 teams left, but there will only be 2 or 3 in the Quarter-Finals, so a good chance for an 'outsider' to win this year. 2 of the lowest-ranked teams have been drawn against each other in the Last 16 (Tannochside and Neilston), and the tie of the round (Tollcross Thistle v somebody) might take a while to get played. East Kilbride Colts (41) v Port Glasgow Amateurs (106)/Greig Park Rangers (33) Doune Castle (12) v Gartcosh United (10) Tannochside United (60) v Neilston Amateurs (81) Cumnock Amateurs (24) v Cupar Hearts (6) Steins Thistle (29) v Wishaw High School FP (11) Cowie Thistle (34) v Chryston (32) Annbank United (23) v East Kilbride Rolls-Royce (30) Tollcross Thistle (9) v Shortlees (5)/Castlemilk Dynamo (3)/Stewarton United (26)/Lesmahagow Amateurs (2) Edited January 21, 2023 by mcruic

Just gives the conspiracy theorists loads of ammunition. Maybe EK teams staying together guaranteeing an EK team in the final would have been their preferred option. As an aside has there been a semi final team before who hasn't played a Central, Caley or Ayrshire top Divsion team in their run?. Bit similar to Falkirks run in the Scottish who can get to the final without playing a Premiership team.

Rossi1990
Even the updated statuses after have been tremendous too. I seen them best Wallyford in a previous round and some of the antics at the end that game left a lot to be desired so up the East

PossilYM
Good luck to both teams in the final. Hopefully the winner doesn't do a Tower Hearts like last season and disappear from the face of the earth.

Currently playing in Central league but moving to Caley league after the summer. the 2 clubs in this seasons final are well established, well run clubs. I would expect them both to be around many years from now.
