Kilmarnock v St Johnstone 5/10/22

Recommended Posts

Aye last season’s strip, last season performance.  That was as inept as we were at any point last season.

Said on Saturday if we don’t score first we are fucked. And a central midfield with Crawford and Hallberg is far too soft.

In fairness to them, McGowan was brutal and May and Clark were powder puff and brushed aside all night.

Wee Max successfully completed more passes in his 10 minutes on the park than the rest of our team did all night.

Saintstv comms summed it up that killie looked the hungrier team.  Thoroughly deserved win for them, they should just be pissed off it wasn’t more comfortable.

Baffling for the whole team to be so poor after looking decent for most of Saturday.

I know we won but the tinkerman really should be banned from making subs. He has this habit of msking us 10 times worse with his changes.

Absolutely no need to take Armstrong off, he was the only man left on the park capable of driving us forward.

Jury is very much out yet on McInnes imo.

From a killie point of view, it was similar to our win at Tannadice on Saturday.

2-0 up and cruising, and you start to think it could be 4 or 5 you’re so far ahead.

A few changes, a loss of attacking intent, and an opposition goal out of nothing means you’re in danger of dropping 2 points come the last couple of minutes. Might have been a concern if we’d nicked the goal 5 mins earlier.

Sympathy to any Saints fans who travelled down tonight.

Fair play to Killie. More than deserved the win. 2-1 flatters saints. Killie looked hungrier, sharper and generally more up for it.

Only positive from saints were Max getting a few minutes and Theo getting a goal. Could be massive for him.

Considine was massively exposed tonight.

Boy Theo looks an absolute unit. If he gets his confidence up and going, he could be really handy at this level.
