PossilYM
On a more serious how heartbreaking must it be for the Kilbirnie committee. It's been a whole catalogue over the years of misbehaviour by the young team to the point the club was playing home games behind closed doors. And now it looks like nobody will want the hassle of a Kilbirnie visit.
DellScot
Was thinking it was a kilbirnie fan who was seriously injured seems like it was a local who is seriously injured or worse. Problem the young team have is that they are so loud and colourful and full of it they attract attention from the wrong types in places they visit. The trouble caused by this can be anyone's fault one thing is for sure kilbirnie will have zero choice now but to ban everyone in the group whether guilty or not for life. What a horrible situation for the club to be in but they have no choice to survive as a club.
Happy Chappy
If WOS don’t take action can see clubs banning their supporters as any visit from Kilbirnie May deter home supporters going to game or even worse attract the wrong type to come along looking for trouble feel sorry for club and officials but they should have dealt with this problem a long time ago hope person injured at game if true pulls through

Satori.
Kilbirnie have some great supporters who follow them everywhere but these morons need sorted out. There is a fair chance they have bitten off more than they can chew here. Possil boys tend to take it badly when outsiders come in and cause trouble on their patch. Hopefully the guy is ok and Kilbirnie as a club get rid of these dicks and they get their comeuppance one way or another.
KirkyRobRoy
Only option I can see is them playing behind closed doors for the forseeable future Ultimately if they cant detach the undesireable element, i do fear for the future of the club

PossilYM
The statement reads as though the incident happened at the end of the game outside the ground.

The clean living guy
Horrific, I hope the supporter recovers. I understand that Kilbirnie have a reputation for trouble but surely no one would travel from Ayrshire with a hammer for a football match?
