Game confirmed as off.

The moral thing would be for Dundee to forfeit.

Don't think may Dees would be bothered if we did. I for one wasn't going tonight with minus 6 temperatures forecast for later. I've been critical of the club around the state of the pitch but support them here in their decision not to turn on the undersoil heating. I doubt the outlay for putting the game on would be matched by ticket sales. Incidentally how many Pars fans were expected to travel?

It's been reschedule for next week.

Doubt there would have been many Pars fans there. There's similar apathy to the tournament among our support.

Have I missed something, do Dundee not have covers?

Doubt covers would have made a difference.

Basically calling the tournament tinpot in our statement:

'While we were aware freezing temperatures were coming in this financial climate it would have been fiscally irresponsible for the club to put the undersoil heating on. We informed the SPFL of this well in advance of today.'

Goes on to say that we'll pretty much be turning it on for the league.

Nowhere near as tinpot as Dundee FC "two administrations with £20 million+ of debt" trying to lecture anyone on fiscal responsibility.

What a fucking moronic take, as per.

Well, both teams will probably be pretty gutted with that today. Both doing well against a decent team from the league above but going out on pens.

Hopefully we can finally get this crap out of the way this Tuesday (not that we'll have much of a squad to play it with at this point). Warmer temperatures and no scheduled rain beyond a drizzle tonight from what I can see from now until then, so it might finally get played.
