DC92
Textbook game where you dominate but don't kill the game early. Big drop in performance from Grant going off onwards. Cammy Devlin scoring the most Cammy Devlin goal imaginable was cool though.

We just played rangers in the SC last month. Last season we played Celtic in the league Cup semi-final at Hampden. The season before, you know the one where we did the Cup Double, we knocked rangers out at ibrox in the quarter final. Would you like to try that again?
accies1874
First half was a complete tactical outclassing by an excellent Hearts side, albeit facilitated by Rankin's weird sort of 5-1-4/5-Diamond-1 press. We were much improved in the second, but it was all about roughing Hearts up without having much quality to actually create chances. Tbh the entire game followed the same pattern as so many of our top flight clashes against Celtic and Rangers.

the jambo-rocker
I'm not saying that was a steamrolling train going through movie sized mcguffin, but more like a vacuum cleaner going over a moderately stubborn stain on the carpet. Joab dun.

The celebrations at Hampden and the open top bus parade after for the 'cup double' must have been something.

Nobody is interested in the typically dour and humourless input that we all expect from a denizen of the Grampian region. Tony Wonder
Thought we were decent first half. Moved it quickly, didn't let Hamilton disrupt us, but while we were deservedly ahead I thought we should've worked the goalie more. Second half wasn't really good enough. Subs were a bit odd, Forrest into central midfield and taking Humphrys off were both strange. Ultimately though we are through, and without any kind of scare, so job done. Thought Oda looked sharp when he came on and a bit more willing to get stuck in tham he did against Livi.
topcat(The most tip top)
Well if I was from Hamilton I’d be fine with that showing essentially they did at home to hearts what we’d all have been ok with Hearts doing to Fiorentina at Tynecastle they defended well, rode their luck and didn’t collapse when they went behind They were always going to need the “magic of the cup” to get them to the quarter finals and while it’s true that lightning didn’t strike tonight at least Hamilton were flying a kite
topcat(The most tip top)
But I’m not from Hamilton, I’m from west central Edinburgh so basically it’s job done, let us never speak of this again
