That’s when everyone was in it though. it’s devalued now with virtually no east clubs and a few west teams not involved. Trophy should be in the Hampden museum along with a history of a dead association. Edited April 12, 2023 by Greenmachine

Shanner
Very exciting times for all involved. Going to try and get along to the Sunday game, although the Friday evening match might get more of the headlines.

jimbaxters
Look like two right good games, on paper at least. The East Ayrshire derby should be a cracker and the other semi is very intriguing given it's East v West. Great chance to get on Teuchter TV. Hope you all enjoy it.

Hawkeye the Gnu
Honest question. Why is the Glens match in Irvine? Was Beachwood not considered? Thought that would have made more sense.

Hawkeye the Gnu
Crazy that fans of both teams will be driving past Auchinleck on a 60mile round trip, but I guess the potential for mayhem would indicate it’s the correct decision. Shame though, should be a cracker.

You are correct, because we felt it was a competition too far with 38 league fixtures plus three other mandatory cup competitions to play in. But with the reduction in league fixtures this season we felt it was a competition that we would like to re-enter. As did Darvel. As an extension to a question on another thread, would a club who get promoted into the LL still be able to retain SJFA membership and enter the cup?

I believe so, yes, however I don't think there is any agreement with the LL to facilitate fixtures for the SJC the way there is with the WoSFL.
