If we were a serious club, we would be thinking about sacking the manager to try and give us some kind of bounce for the playoffs. Not saying that’s the decision I’d make, feel a bit sorry for Faz, but a club with any kind of financial means would be considering it.

I don’t think many clubs would be sacking their manager whilst sitting 2nd in the league tbh, it’s not like we were expected to skoosh it. I’m not a fan of the manager at all but there is absolutely no denying that injuries whilst catching up with a backlog of games on an embarassment of a tattie field are a key reason for the recent slump.

Agreed on all those points other than the first. If a manager loses enough games, he will come under pressure, at a club that had any choice.

It’s not as black and white as that though, due to the reasons I listed above.

Either way, the board didn’t sack him in the summer so they most certainly aren’t going to bag him now, even if they did have the money to do it.

Clearly not. They wouldn’t even be considering it.

Tbf I don’t think there’s any advantage between finishing 2nd and 4th. Like you say, it’s the form that’s got us doomed.

Best place to finish is 4th. I’d rather play Clyde or Peterhead than Annan or Forfar

You’re probably right. It would give you a better chance than having to beat two on-form teams over two legs. I don’t think it matters much atm, though.
