Marshall fucked it for the goal but was very good second half. We were pretty poor throughout not taking the red card into account.

We were bad, not looking forward to the post split games tbh.

I will never, ever, understand why managers think its in any part worthwhile playing Stevie May as a lone striker.

Its just utterly pointless and leads to the ball never sticking up top.

Why we continued with that when Hibs were down to 10 is even more confusing.

The red looked like a red in real time, from my view (touchline), looked like he went over the ball and caught McLennan.

Seeing it backs it nothing like that, and youd struggle to even say its a yellow.

Staggering how woeful VAR is, struggle to think of a single time its actually been useful to have.

Massively missed opportunity for us. For once we get the break with a sending off for the opposition; didn’t think it was at the time and don’t on seeing the replay there.

First half we were doing fine until Hibs equaliser out of nowhere. They came into it a lot more after that. The first 5 minutes of the second half were shaping up to be really end to end and there was a decent amount of excitement.

Following the red card though, the next 20 minutes or so were abysmal viewing. You’d get a minute of football then 3 minutes of delays for var or someone to get treatment or Napier trying to steal the show.

We had a few chances, and overall looked organised and up for it, but that’s the play off place looking ominously close.

Chasing a win at home against 10 men and we don’t bring on either forward tells us all we need to know about how much Maclean rates Bair and Rudden.

Didn't look to me like a red in real time in the ground and deffinately wasn't a red after seeing it again.

The ref was terrible today. Laughable moment when he stopped playing for a Saints knock with hibs in possession in their own half and started it again with a drop ball for Saints in our own box!

Deffinately more fight from Saints today without creating just too many clear cut chances. Enjoyable last 10 mins with Saints really pushing, but all to often, our final ball is found wanting. Hallberg really offered nothing when he came on and again a stupid yellow from Carey.

Does today give the board something to consider in terms of MacLean keeping the job longer? For me, probably not. Really needed a win to give him that.

It sounds like hes been given until the end of the season regardless, so lets just hope it works out.

Has that come out from somewhere else?

It wasn't the impression I took from the Open Night.

Like it or not, coming in from distance, at some pace, straight leg, studs up onto middle of shin with a downward trajectory is going to be a red all day long now a days

I don’t think I’ve seen anyone that has watched it back say it’s a red card. No still image changes my mind either, never a sending off even in todays game.
