Marten
Talk on next season already started in this season's thread, but let's start a new one. Below all the clubs that are expected to take part. Please let me know if I've missed any out / made any errors. Non-licensed qualifiers have the way they qualified in brackets. East of Scotland League (25) Luncarty (East/South/West cup winners shield) Broxburn Athletic Dundonald Bluebell Haddington Athletic Hill of Beath Hawthorn Jeanfield Swifts Lothian Thistle Hutchinson Vale Musselburgh Athletic Penicuik Athletic Sauchie Juniors Tynecastle Blackburn United Vale of Leithen Dunbar United Newtongrange Star Dunipace Camelon Juniors Burntisland Shipyard Coldstream Preston Athletic Whitehill Welfare Dalkeith Thistle Easthouses Lily Miners Welfare Hawick Royal Albert St Andrews United South of Scotland League (5) Abbey Vale (champions) Dalbeattie Star Creetown Newton Stewart St Cuthbert Wanderers Wigtown & Bladnoch West of Scotland League (16) Beith Juniors (champions) Auchinleck Talbot Clydebank Cumnock Darvel Glenafton Athletic Irvine Meadow XI Kilwinning Rangers Pollok Benburb Bonnyton Thistle Rutherglen Glencairn Glasgow University Girvan Threave Rovers Carluke Rovers Midlands League (3) Carnoustie Panmure (champions) Lochee United Tayport NJFA (1) Culter (champions) North Caledonian League (3) Loch Ness (champions) Fort William Golspie Sutherland SAFA (1) Cupar Hearts (Scottish Amateur Cup winners) That makes a total of 55 clubs. If I haven't made any mistakes, that would mean there will be 2 preliminary rounds with 3 games in the first preliminary round. The 7 qualifiers will play that round with 1 team receiving a bye at random. Edited June 9, 2023 by Marten
HibeeJibee
You've missed Threave from WOSL. Reportedly upto 6 clubs due for licences. If (say) 4 you'd have 7 qualifiers + 1 random in PR1. Edited May 11, 2023 by HibeeJibee

So far I'm only aware of Creetown & Glenafton. Edited May 11, 2023 by Marten

However, we shall see. Edited May 11, 2023 by Dev ..

Black Pennel
I'm guessing he means Renfrew. Also guessing that Marten means Benburb, but I'll put that down to genuine typo on his part.

Their ground looks like it will fit the requirements.

Marten
Added Carnoustie Panmure who qualified as Midlands League champions (sorry, I was a bit late on this one). I guess we should find out in the next few days who get added as licensed clubs, as the SFA AGM is on Tuesday.

Ginaro
Going by the Highland League fixture gaps, R1-2 will be 23 September and 28 October? Edited June 9, 2023 by Ginaro
archieb
Surely a date of 26th August for R1 does not allow enough time for the Preliminary and Extra Preliminary fixtures to be played? Is there any chance the HL has got its dates wrong and 26th August is the Preliminary Round similar to last year's date of 27th? Or has the format of the rounds been completely changed?
Marten
Last season the preliminary round was on 27th August so I'd expect the same. Maybe HL are planning a cup round that weekend?

Great. When everyone is out at the games, they break into your hoose and install a prepaid meter.
