Done well for us over the years but we need to start bringing through the next generation. Granted some young boys on the bench but give them a chance. At 2-0 down there's nothing to lose. Poland are a very average side & looked like they were going to hurt us every time they went forward. In international football it's significantly worse due to the frequency of the matches. I also find Steve Clarke to be one of the most objectionable 'personalities' in football. The way he conducts himself, the way he answers the press, the stuff that comes out of his mouth. He is just utterly, utterly charmless, ridiculously stubborn, and inexcusably belligerent. It all just combines to absolutely trigger me. The Scotland job is a hard gig. We don't have a great talent pool and it's looking like it's only going to get shallower and shallower. I just feel like Clarke doesn't have it in him to take us further and if we are going to anything at this level we kind of need to do it soon as most of out top players are either at their peak or are just coming off their peak and there ain't much coming up to replace them. 4 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
