He was capable of magic moments when he wasn’t on his arse or offside 😂!

Unfortunately,  he was offside or on his arse for 90% of his time at Clyde.

Although he was unplayable at home against Ayr that night. What a performance.

I seem to remember him really struggling at first and then randomly scoring four goals in one game against Berwick. He was also superb in the cup run we had which culminated in him scoring in both legs of the Ayr United tie (the Connor Quinn Experience).

Really hoping Connor Quinn is the keeper IM was talking about. Fully expecting it to be Peter Cherrie tho!

Is Connor Quinn the young keeper we had who played really well for us then moved onto Ayr?

He actually never moved on to Ayr, but he played in both legs of the cup tie against them. He also played one league game then disappeared from football.

A quick look at our news archive on the website says that Jim Chapman offered him a deal that summer, but he left the club for opportunities elsewhere.

I remember him being one of the better keepers over the years that we’ve had since we were relegated from the championship.

Not sure our pals at Falkirk thought too highly of him but they had a tendency of making even decent players look absolutely woeful. He’d have to be an absolute ringer to be any worse than what we’ve had there this season so I’m cautiously optimistic in that regard.

Sounds like one that could go either way, but he looks a big lad which gives him an immediate headstart on Leighfield. The two fatal flaws in Parry's makeup are his distribution and athleticism, so you'd imagine a keeper with Kinnear's grounding to be much better in those respects.
