Group H - St. Mirren, Arbroath, Forfar, Montrose and Cowdenbeath.

Tremendous performance from Forfar tonight. On top in every department and made Arbroath look even more in disarray. Yet another outstanding performance from Roberto Nditi topped off with a great goal from a superb build up, but it's maybe a bit unfair to single him out - that was a great team performance. Ray McKinnon is building a cracking team here. I felt for Skelly when the ball wasn't being played to him but I reckon his goal is just what's needed. Regardless of this Saturday's result these performances bode well for the coming season. Arbroath had a few good moves and a great goal, but overall were very disappointing. And that number 6, did he not use to take total command of the midfield?

That number 6 chose mediocrity and money over being part of something special. Likely relegation as opposed to likely promotion.

I hope we get a grip on Saturday and stop pissing about like it’s pre season. At least they have more minutes in their legs and can have no excuses if we don’t turn up and put in a half decent performance.

We need to win and put on a performance.

Likely promotion? Let’s calm down we have played 3 pre season cup games

We just missed out on promotion last season after a dreadful start/first half of the season with a poorer team than we have now, why shouldn’t we be challenging big time?

The Kings of the East travel West in a mouth watering tie against St Mirren

Winner takes all.

As Sir Alex Ferguson said, if you don't win in Glasgow you don't win anything....

St Mirren come from a historic town with a Abbey in the centre of town built in 11.63 a grand building known as the cradle of the House Of Stewart. William Wallce was educated there. Paisley has magnificent history even up to industrial revolution. Cotton thread was exported world wide which was invented in the town. As they say Paisley is St Mirren, St Mirren is Paisley.

Shit, we're up against a bunch of Christan, warlords, who supported the slave market.

Us farmers just deal in beef.

edit to add - beef was invented befor 11.63, stick that in your Abbey

Is this what passes as banter in Forfar?

Just to be clear we weren't expecting to win, we've already did everything we could to get through.

Still should with nine points I think?

HT 4-0

Quite similar to last week against Arbroath. We have been in full control since the first whistle. Scored four good goals, could easily have scored more. Hasn’t been much of a contest, time to get the youngsters on second half.

That's our goal difference advantage completely destroyed then. 😬
