Ahh, so that's why he's always going on about mercury in vaccines. That and the brain worms, obviously.

Florentine_Pogen
https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/article/2024/may/09/sex-stormy-daniels-donald-trump-adult-film-star "The spectacle of Stormy Daniels on the witness stand in a Manhattan courtroom this week sent one back to the image of Trump’s last female antagonist, E Jean Carroll, the advice columnist who famously sued Trump for sexually assaulting her, standing victorious outside another courtroom in January. Daniels, unlike Carroll, is not the plaintiff in this case. Nonetheless, Trump’s fortunes rest, to a large degree, on her credibility, a 45-year-old former porn star who the New York Times described this week as “a complicated and imperfect witness”. If Carroll – elegant, measured, articulate – was the perfect victim, Daniels is practically the archetype of the woman court systems tend to revile. And yet, on the strength of her opening testimony, she strikes me as Trump’s very worst nightmare."

Gotta love bringing up tweets that insult Trump to try to get her to admit something, and she simply reads them and dismisses them.

Driving reports that the GOP establishment is in a search for a V-P candidate that will be more moderate, and attract those Haley voters…the trick will be convincing Trump to agree to the candidate. The other problem is finding such a candidate with appeal, since Haley is almost certainly not willing (saving powder for 2028) and DeSantis is too MAGA-lite to work as desired.

They were so desperate last time that they started talking about how his kids would reign him in and stop him doing all the shit he was talking about. That seems to have gone away as America got to know them better.

That seems to have gone away as America got to know them better. And/or gotten worse as the “that’ll burn the Lib-tards” mentality has increasingly infected more and more of the Republican electorate, and the Republican officials. It’s fairly impressive to see people so vociferously in favor of a candidate and policies that will obviously hurt them. The selling of Trumpism as necessary to “save ‘Murica” has been perhaps the more successful con jobs on the American electorate in well over a century.
TxRover
Nikki Haley held a donor retreat last weekend. Still polling 22% in the Republican primaries, chose not to endorse Trump during this retreat, has NOT released her donor list to Trump, and she just told her donors to “vote their conscience” in November. Haley expects her donors to vote their conscience while Trump believes they will vote for the R and ignore their concerns about the country…could be an interesting one.

TxRover
I’d pay good money to see Crockett vs Greene in a cage match. I’d say best of three falls, but I suspect Greene would get her ass whipped so badly on the first it would be over. Alternately, a Greene vs Ocasio-Cortez debate would also be must see TV.

BFTD
They play right into Greene's hands by freaking out when she comes out with this stuff. That's the reaction she's after. Just pass a motion that she's a horse-faced cuntress and move on.
