Oakley United 1-4 Hill of Beath Hawthorn

You got the Oakley result wrong. Dunbar beat them not HOB. Dunbar are in the last 32 not HOB.

Crossgates Primrose 0-6 Berwick Rangers
Stoneyburn 3-1 Kinnoull

Having not won a knockout cup-tie of any kind in just short of 2 years Berwick devastated their hosts in an exuberant display including Lewis Baker's hattrick. Stoneyburn struck back to shock Kinnoull.

Some very tasty ties.

Standouts in R3 are Dunbar v Armadale, Bo'ness Utd v Uni of Stirling (to maybe host Musselburgh in R4), Tranent v Sauchie (maybe Jeanfield) and notably the Linlithgow v Bo'ness Athletic derby... when last met Athletic led 0-3 only to crash 5-3... whose winner may host Broxburn in R4. Camelon will be sad to see their interests ended by Mighty Berwick Rangers.

Any sane reason why Berwick are such heavy favourites against Camelon tonight?

Camelon at 16/5 or even draw 11/2 looks mighty tasty.

Berwick got a bit of a scare tonight and had to dig in to get over the line, but just about deserved to win.

Camelon missed a glorious chance to go in front when 1 on 1 with the keeper, the young winger kind of tamely misfired wide... then just a couple of minutes later Berwick were in front. A 2nd near the end of the half when a magnificent free kick effort came back of the bar and dropped for a tap in. Then a 3rd was gifted to them a minute later as a misplaced pass went straight to Berwick striker and the keeper was in two minds whether to come out or not... was well finished, though.

3-0 at halftime and game over.... except Camelon scored a wonderful goal right at the start of the 2nd half to get their tails up. Berwick mostly kept them at arms length, but near the end Camelon managed to break away and get another to give the game a heck of a finish, but Berwick defended well enough to limit Camelon chances...

Very good game all round.

St Andrews 4 Rosyth 1

Not as comfortable as the score line suggests.

Saints went two up in the first half hour and could have extended their lead but Rosyth pulled one back and the game could have went either way until Saints scored and Rosyth had two players sent off for dissent with fifteen minutes to go.

Should be a close game at home to Blackburn on Saturday with a quarter final place up for grabs.

Jeanfield 6-1 Coldstream
Luncarty P-P Penicuik
(R4) Dunipace 2-0 Berwick

St Andrews 4-1 Rosyth

Dundonald P-P Haddington
Harthill P-P Musselburgh
Luncarty 5-1 Penicuik
(R4) St Andrews 3-1 Blackburn

Berwick fell to shock loss at Dunipace last week and Luncarty will have surprised many by blowing away Penicuik today.

Dunipace, Inverkeithing and St Andrews have all secured their places in QFs.

  • St Andrews
  • Bo’ness United/University of Stirling (5 Dec) v Harthill Royal/Musselburgh Athletic
  • Dundonald Bluebell/Haddington Athletic v Dunbar United
  • Gala Fairydean Rovers v Luncarty
  • Tranent v Jeanfield Swifts
