How is it a disgrace? The licensing process has been closed by the SFA for over a year, can’t even apply just now. And if teams spending big like Clydebank to try and get promotion and they can’t do it is not a team like Beith’s fault.

You know we have not and you know the reasons why they have been out there for long enough. Planing permission for floodlights are in now though. But as I said right now it makes no difference if we were compliant as the SFA are not allowing any further applications at this time, and have not for over a year. As far as the ground being compliant goes floodlights are the only stumbling block.

Perhaps another criteria is that you have your own ground and don’t ground share. Get rid of another few teams. Can only be addressed if your club win the league and rightly enter a play off to the LL. You looking for the playoff being awarded to the highest place licensed club???
the nearly man
Beith continually punch above their weight at this level we have been fortunate to win a few leagues and cups in recent times that have elevated our status to being named comfortably among the favourites for trophies at the start of every season without maybe having the financial leverage that clubs such as Darvel, Pollok and Clydebank have and now also the new breed of clubs St Cadocs and Gartcairn we continue to challenge however due to being a well run club with a great management team and a playing squad who continue to outshine some of our more illustrious opponents , don’t know why we get so many people who seem to take exception to a well run club that stays within its parameters winning the league just because they can’t gain promotion, the answer to that is maybe have a look at your own team and stop moaning Beith will be ready when they can and not before .

The WOS should have laid a time period for Premier clubs to become license compliant and avoid having lost playoff places. Clearly, Beith have had other issues with the ground ownership etc and it’s pleasing that it seems to be getting somewhere now though the license process being closed or paused is obviously another stumbling block that they could have done without. There are earlier posters (possibly another thread) suggesting that Beith wouldn’t want to go up which doesn’t really make any sense. I don’t understand why any club would have moved from West Juniors to WoS if they had no ambition to move up from tier 6. Thejackdaw
If you're licensed and good enough to finish in 1st place and then win the play off then you go up . Simple stuff really.
