I'll give Austin's new club the courtesy of announcing his signature after they finally agreed a deal with us today. 😉

Good luck to Austin, a young lad with a lot of potential and will only get better, still only 20 years old. He started the season as a very tidy player, lost his way a wee bit over the winter months, but regained his form towards the end of the season and started producing an end product to his play. Disappointed to lose him, but it's a good move for him and Glencairn are happy with the transfer fee. I hope he manages to establish himself in the team at his new club.

They must have been confident of getting a deal done as he was listed in their squad  on line a couple of days ago.

Let's just say somebody was a little premature. 😉

Jack scored 35 goals for The Glens from 69 starts and 4 substitute appearances over 2021-22 and 2022-23. We would like to thank Gartcairn for their help in facilitating this transfer.

We are pleased to announce the signing of 20-year-old goalkeeper Thomas Starrs, previously with Pollok.

Thomas was an ever-present between the sticks for Pollok Under 20s last season, and he will compete with Chris White for the Glencairn first team number one shirt this season.

A win to get our pre-season underway as we retained the William Skinner Memorial Cup with a last-minute goal v Cambuslang Rangers.

We should have had the game out of sight with the number of chances we had, but two defensive slips allowed 'Lang to equalise twice.

Four new signings in the starting team, with Andy McLaughlin the stand-out player over the 90 minutes.

On to three very tough games now v Johnstone Burgh, Beith and St Cadoc's.

Was there a decent crowd last night or did the Euros semi impact on it? Would have came down to watch but opted to watch the game on the tv

There's no doubt the England game had a big impact on the crowd, and the forecast wet weather. It turned out to be a lovely evening for watching a game.
