Like all of the Central Belt, easy to get to with a car. No car then you on to D-Day type planning depending on where you're coming from. Trains from far and wide do run to within a few minutes in a taxi from Broadwood. Google being your friend for a local taxi number. Did Broadwood from Rutherglen Station a couple of weeks back in 40 minutes by train and local taxi. Was the same time using the bus from Buchanan St and the first stop is Muirhead.
