I'll be there. It's an easy drive. There's a direct bus from Kirkie (247) but it disnae run on Sundays.

Course it doesn't.

All the best from an ex-cumbie boy, at least the drive is in daylight in the summer.

Never enjoyed that drive, taking the boys to training at Merkland during the dark months.

Attendance?

No idea. A few hundred.

Can't really complain. After a bright opening we set up fairly defensively but coped well until some comedy miscommunication just after half-time. Second EK goal was a quick break after some rare Rob Roy pressure.

Is anyone going?

I know it's a nothing cup, it's Broadwood, and even from 5 miles away in Kirkie it's still feckin difficult to get to.

But, its still a final and neither of the arsecheeks are in it.

Like all of the Central Belt, easy to get to with a car.

No car then you on to D-Day type planning depending on where you're coming from.

Trains from far and wide do run to within a few minutes in a taxi from Broadwood. Google being your friend for a local taxi number. Did Broadwood from Rutherglen Station a couple of weeks back in 40 minutes by train and local taxi. Was the same time using the bus from Buchanan St and the first stop is Muirhead. Hard to believe so many people use a bus on that back road into Cumbernauld.

Not too bad considering the football competition over the weekend between 2 Scottish Cup finals and a charity game by the big two. That was about 80,000 fitba fans out the story right away.

A nothing cup?? You will need to explain that one?

Probably start with no prize money

So that’s the criteria? It’s the one of the biggest non league trophy going, hardly a nothing cup.

Strange to see Mick Kennedy not being involved at all with the team today. Sat in the stand entire match, didn’t even join in the celebrations once they won. No Si Ferry present either.
Odd

Raging he wasn't at the Legends game at Celtic Park probably.

He is on a 3-game dugout suspension.
