Assuming my math is correct 163 teams this season courtesy of Knightswood & West Linton Hostspur making their debuts, Newburgh returning from last seasons ban, Easthouses Lilly & Lochore being banned for rule breaches & Syngenta folding. Same number as last season. Record four time winners Spartans bow out following promotion to the billy big baws SPFL with Albion Rovers making their debut having joined us non-league diddies. Concessions include U16s, O65s and Students U12’s free if accompanied by an adult. This is the cheapest Rovers have charged at Cliftonhill for a 1st team game in quite a few years. Albion Rovers 3-2 West Park Utd Rovers could have scored a barrel load in the first half and rattled the post and bar. 2-0 at h-t was acceptable, we were less chuffed with an equaliser by WPU in 90+1 but didn't have much time to complain when Denholm who is on loan from Livvy scored the winner in 90+2 Anybody know when the draw for round 3 is? 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Shocks of the day are Cumbernauld Utd winning at Bo'ness Utd (gap of 3 tiers)... BSCG beating Caledonian Locos (2)... Kennoway winning at Inverkeithing (2)... and Lanark edging Cambuslang (2). Given current form Gretna beating Darvel and Irvine Meadow winning at Broomhill also interesting. There were major scares for LL sides as Albion Rovers scraped past West Park of tier 9 with a late goal plus Caledonian Braves needed ET home to Girvan. League strugglers Auchinleck needed late goal to squeak past Blantyre and Craigmark almost shocked Troon. Remarkable tie at New Abbey where FT was 2-2, but Abbey Vale stuck 5 past Royal Albert in additional 30mins!
