Took in the Cumbernauld United v Forth game this afternoon and have to say that I was pleasantly surprised at the standard of Cumbernauld. It was a good game, Forth never took their chances when they were on top but Cumbernauld were ruthless. 4-0 at Half Time but Forth had their Goalkeeper to thank for keeping the score line semi respectable with a good number of real good saves. I kind of missed the penalty, was so far away with a poor view, but it was well struck, but as soon as United scored their 5th the game just faded out.

I thought Marshall (number 3) was excellent and looked a real player and of course Cunningham did really well to bag his hat trick and I thought number 14 did really well when he came on.

All in all, it was a good afternoon and I’ll certainly be back.

No game for us today, so went along to Olivebank to see Musselburgh v Berwick.

Strange one in that Musselburgh were the far better team for the vast majority of the 120 minutes, yet Berwick were still in the tie right till the end. Not sure if the Burgh had anyone missing up-front, but had they had a striker who could hit the target this could genuinely have been about 6-0. Great celebration when they finally did score with about 5 minutes left of ET.

Decent crowd - maybe about 250, and credit to a sizeable travelling support from Berwick. Good day out at a very trim ground - and a bonus with the nicest pie of the season so far!

Is “next Monday “ the first Monday after the post or a week on monday?

To any sane person next Monday means the 23rd, as you don't need to say "next" if you mean the 16th.

But last time the draw took place the day after the second round so it would make sense to be tomorrow given it's just 4 weeks until the next round.

Pollok vs Linlithgow
Broxburn vs Talbot
St Cadocs vs the Soldiers of Love Mk II
Dunbar vs Cumbernauld Colt .45

the standouts for me. Kilwinning & Lanark bag themselves games against not so long ago SPFL opposition.
