From a player point of view, folk aren’t really up for ‘paying their dues’ every week when other teams are offering sums to play instead (and I include amateur teams in that too). Boys at 18/19 not having to pay fees to pay under 20s and getting to play on Friday nights. The lads at Abernethy tried hard to get people involved but think the interest in amateur football is gone. Or even Stirling? SPAFA, Caley and GGP need to merge. LEAFA need to merge with Fife or Borders. Perth needs to merge with Stirling, Fife or Midlands. Stirling needs to merge with the Glasgow leagues, Edinburgh league, Perth or Fife. Alliance) and Fife at 30 are accurate. That's a fall of 176; followed by a fall of 173; if you have another of 170 there will only be 108 left in 2029.
