Allan Campbell is an interesting one. At 25 years old he has been around the fringes of the National team for a while but has only been officially called up on one occasion (June 2022). We know that Steve Clarke rates him as a player.

Campbell played 1493 minutes for Luton across 28 championship games (53 mins/game) since Rob Edwards replaced Nathan Jones. If he can find a way to get regular game time for Luton in the EPL, particularly if Luton have a successful season, then I think we will see Campbell more frequently with the National Team.

Scott Banks at Palace might be worth keeping an eye on. Plays left wing, I think, and has a squad number, so might get some first team chances this season with Zaha having left.

He's also eligible for Wales, mind you.

There are some clips on the net.

He can take a free kick

Thankfully , so far , he has played 4 times for our U - 21s

Off to St Pauli on loan it seems.

The news I'm seeing is that it's a permanent move and not a loan, with Blackburn also keen on signing him. I'm not a super-agent, mind, so there's every chance I'm wrong.

Edit: And I hope he goes to Germany even though the Bundesliga 2 is of a lower standard than the English Championship.

Cheers.

His father is French.

Get him capped for the senior team !

His father played for us in the early noughties as a big lump of a striker. I don't remember him being particularly good, just big, I think we hoped he'd be our Mark De Vries......alas.
