Clyde v Bonnyrigg Rose

Recommended Posts

After getting a decent point last week it would be good to get our first win of the season here and get off to a good start in the league.

Was hoping for a signing or two this week, but may have to wait until near the end of August until bigger teams get their squads sorted and players become available.

Agreed, after the point away last week it would be great to get our first win of the season this weekend. As for signings time will tell!!!

Hi, was wondering if there is any watering holes near the ground that allow kids in.

Do you have a club shop as the youngest likes to get a pin badge of any ground he goes to.

Hopefully we can build on last weekends draw and pick up our first 3pts of the season.

Thanks

The Bay Horse on Bothwell Road does, will be a 10-15 minute walk to the ground from there.

The peacock and ivy round the corner does food so I’d imagine they’d let kids in during the day. Think Bar West across the road also does the same.

The fanzone within the ground is open to fans from 12:30, and kids are more than welcome. You enter the fanzone through the main door, just as you can do when entering the ground with your ticket. Prices aren’t too bad for a drink and there’s normally a (fairly basic but usually adequate) food option too.

The club shop is available within the fanzone from 2pm (you won’t miss it) that you should be able to source a pin badge from.

Bonnyrigg started well and caused us problems before the wide players were bodied into defending the wing-backs properly, but it's been awful stuff from two really poor sides since. Not convinced about the penalty shout myself, would have to see it again, but you just knew we would concede as soon as they went up the pitch afterwards.

We might be wanting to sign a few players still, but this sort of performance is always unacceptable. Bonnyrigg are absolutely dreadful.

If Scullion had looked in control of the ball at any point in the first half he might have got a penalty.
