And our former Irn Bru officianado seems to be running the show round there these days.

Craig fae the Vale
Vale of Leven 1-0 Carluke Rovers. Couldn't kill the game off but got ourselves over the line and into the third round of the Scottish Junior Cup.

Lex
Comfy 3-0 victory for Burgh today over Dundee North end. They literally parked their bus behind the goal, but it wasn’t enough to stop the red machine marching on.

Highest amount of clubs from north of Tayside at this stage since the EOS clubs left, though not an easy draw for them.
Ginaro
Lochee beating Largs on penalties in the only game to go ahead in the last 16, rest will be played next week or the week after. Draw for the QFs. If things go to form it'll be all WOS Premier semi-finals, though Lochee and Johnstone Burgh if they get through will be looking to change that.
vikingTON
Lochee could have easily lost their game today but I wouldn't expect Darvel to dominate them at all. I wasn't impressed with Lochee at all in the first half (though the scoreline was not representative of a scrappy, even encounter) but the second half suggested that they have a higher gear they can step up to. The baseline quality of their side is not actually Largs, despite the shootout today IMO.
Craig fae the Vale
Vale of Leven 1-4 Auchinleck Talbot Matched the team from three divisions above us for an hour, but their fitness and extra bit of quality made the difference in the last half hour. A lot of positives to take. Absolutely knackered now, never stopped all day!

Thought 4-1 flattered Talbot, Vale of Leven look a decent young side, with a good team spirit about them, as you say Vale matched them for an hour, should maybe have had a penalty in the first half too. I felt Vale's goalkeeper was at fault for a couple of goals though. Enjoyed my afternoon at Millburn, a great auld school ground, nice folk, pie was good too.
