When you look at what the St Mirren goal got chopped off for at the weekend and that’s arguably less contact than Sima on Brandon. You begin to wonder what’s the point

The guy on VAR at Ibrox tonight was the ref who gave a foul against St Mirren. p***k Walsh.

Corruption 100% been going on for years

A mate of mine summed it up by saying it's more likely to be pressure / panic / fear than it is corruption (which I agree with) but there's absolutely no denying the hand up they get from officials.

The incident at the Motherwell game and today's so closely together certainly highlight that.

Not related to tonight, but the fact that Rangers haven't conceded a penalty at Ibrox since 2019 is quite astounding. Every other club in the league had a penalty against them at home last season, for context.

As much as De Lucas was obviously out of position for that Yilmaz goal, I've no idea where our two centre mids were. He ran right through the space where you'd have expected Holt and Sean Kelly to be.

Aye, seemed like it was a foul at the time for the first goal and having seen it back it’s pretty clear it should’ve been sent for a review.

That aside, I felt we started really positively, John Lundstram dictated things and we looked to get the ball forward quickly but it fizzled out far too quickly. It was then a slog again until around the 60th minute and we began to find gaps as Livingston had to come out a bit.

Ridvan took his goal excellently, and he does offer something different to Barisic. His driving runs in field are decent and he does well to cut across any tracking players pretty much ensuring he gets away from them or wins a foul.

But, slightly overshadowed with yet more injuries, this time to Ridvan and Roofe. Getting right down to the bare bones now.

Rangers and Celtic are refereed differently and routinely given breaks by referees that not a single other club in Scotland are given.

On Sunday, Motherwell player 'pushes over' a Rangers player, referee blows immediately and Motherwell not allowed to play on and/or let VAR decide.

Tonight, Rangers player pushes over a Livingston player, referee doesn't call a foul, Rangers scores and VAR doesn't get involved.

This doesn't end until the fans of the other 40 clubs do something about it. Plain and simple.

Without dissenting too much about the difference in refereeing (because I do agree we get more decisions than others) but the incident from the Motherwell game at the weekend was a carbon copy of the incident against Morton we faced. Referee blew for a non-existent foul as Dessers rounded the keeper to score, denying the chance for it to be sent for a VAR review.

So I don’t think that particular incident can be held up as clear evidence of us being refereed differently.

Only in the league. Thistle got a penalty there last season.
