Every time we've played at the Euros, we've had at least one of Germany, England and the Netherlands.

We can only get one of them this time, but I wouldn't be surprised

Then the other 2 on the way to the final I guess.

So how have we done against teams in the fourth pot?

Wales: 61-23-23 (4-3-3 competitive)

Estonia: 6-2-0 (4-2-0 competitive)

Israel: 6-2-2 (5-2-2 competitive)
Bosnia: 2-0-0 (2-0-0 competitive)
Ukraine: 2-1-2 (2-1-2 competitive)
Iceland: 6-0-0 (6-0-0 competitive)

Georgia: 3-1-2 (3-1-2 competitive)
Greece: 1-0-1 (1-0-1 competitive)
Kazakhstan: 1-0-1 (1-0-1 competitive)
Luxembourg: 4-1-0 (1-1-0 competitive)

Obviously Italy have a big historical edge on us, and we meet on a fairly regular basis; thankfully they're at a low ebb right now. We've not played the Swiss in a meaningful game since Euro 96, with a wide spread of results. Again, they seem to be slipping back a bit after a good spell, which isn't bad news for us. Gauging our record against Serbia is tricky due to Yugoslavia, but we certainly don't have a clear edge on them.

From the potential Nations League qualifiers, we have the worst record against Poland, having never beaten them in a tournament game. Again, their results have been on the slide, so this would be a decent time to face them. Wales have been an absolute bogey team for us in recent decades; our record against them has been dismal since Home Internationals finished in the Eighties. We all know they're not the same side since Bale retired, but apparently they're still good enough to take points from nations like Croatia.

Of the others, Ukraine look like the toughest, based on our limited head-to-head record, and also their results in recent years. Not to dismiss everyone else, as nations like Finland, Iceland, and Luxembourg and very much better than when we've racked up wins against them in the past. Our lack of matches against nations like Greece and Kazakhstan perhaps hides their potential to cause us problems, and we all know what Georgia can do to us when they're in the mood  :shutup

There have been some decent mascots for these tournaments in the past - Pique, Ciao, and that bunny from Euro 88 spring to mind - but that thing is awful.

Should've asked if they wanted to borrow Kingsley from Partick.
