Shame. -

SEETHING
Guys, guys. Come on. Surely you can find common ground in that your silly wee teams have been (or will imminently be) absolutely pumped by the Gorgie Globetrotters?

MarkoRaj
Nothing more infuriating than a goalkeeper getting countless warnings for time wasting and then only finally getting booked in injury time when the game is done. I don't understand why warnings are even given for it, should be a yellow card every time

I’d like to see him put that hyphenated p***k in hospital. Apart from assaulting Oakley, Taylor-Sinclair also should have seen red for his aerial assault on Crawford.

It happens with the opposition almost every single week at Tannadice so it was nice to see the reverse happening.  Seems United are perhaps finally learning how the game works in the Championship. Fair play to you.

Not pretty, not enjoyable to watch, but after some recent results, the win is all that matters
Ferguson
Last night's the first time I'll be willing to accept this anti-football Morton ideology. Woeful. Punt the ball as far away from our own goal as possible and hope for the best. No one wanted to win the first or second balls enough. I want to put it down to tired legs but 36 year old Alan Power had no issue with it. Plenty credit in the bank and still in a strong position anyway, just need to find a different way to get through the last 9 games.

Pull My Strings
I must say I was a little perplexed to note the degree of opprobrium coming from the home stands last night. I thought these Morton lads were all in favour of taking a pragmatic approach to the game.
The Ghost of B A R P
I've absolutely no problem with an away team, a goal up, hitting the deck at every opportunity and slowing down the restart; it worked. Complaint is with the gimp of a referee, who let them do it for over an hour. At certain points he was waiting around until the Utd players were gracious enough to agree to continue the game. Eye-bleeding stuff. He could have played about twenty minutes additional time (aye, I know: we still wouldn't have scored).

We learned it from Dunfermline (although they didn't need to be a goal up for it)

It really is.
