Lochee Park is hosting a game today, we shouldve tried to get the game moved there.

And yet the games postponed at Dens have been nothing to do with these storms! Snowbound and frozen pitches used to be the major cause of postponed games. Dundee having 2 games called off in such a short space of time for a waterlogged pitch, while playing a game in between is just bad maintenance tbh. If Saints continued to have games called off, we would be rightly slammed. Motherwell used to have pitch problems and did something about it. Doubt Dundee will and will use the move to the new stadium as cover to not invest in Dens.
RandomGuy.
Apparently Saints were told by Dundee at 9.30 that the game would go ahead, then heard nothing until being told it was postponed at 11.30 Just under 2000 tickets were sold.
Hoose Rice
Feel sorry for the Dees fans missing a game of football that would have seen them scudding the Johnnies.

A couple of games off in storm period isn't the worst thing ever. Edited January 2 by Hoose Rice

Dundee put out a statement etc., blaming the ref and claiming a different ref wouldve deemed the pitch playable, for their game v Aberdeen. Assume we'll get the same again today considering its the exact same area of the pitch thats caused the postponement.

The same end of the pitch has been waterlogging for years and theyve done f**k all about it. Its presumably now at breaking point and we'll probably see yet more postponements from them once we actually hit rainy season in February.

No they were told of a pitch inspection at 9.30 and that it looked promising. Not that it would go ahead.
